Her personal work focuses on portraiture and narrative illustration and is inspired by mythology, poetry, literature, and her own travels. Annie attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, graduating with a B.A. in Concept Art for Game Development. While at school, she studied both traditional and digital methods for illustration and design. She chose the program because of its intense focus on designing for narrative storytelling, as well as learning the traditional skills associated with realism. Annie has been working as a freelance artist ever since, and is excited to share her skills and love of art with her students. He grew up (and learned to ride) on a horse-boarding farm in Massachusetts, and later worked as a farmhand in New Hampshire. Long hikes and camping trips with friends and family nourished his love of the outdoors. Competing at the varsity level for soccer and track & field honed his skills as an individual athlete and a teammate. A high-school trip to Germany, Hungary, and the Czech Republic opened his eyes to the rich history, art, and architecture of the Church. Mr. Domnarski received a bachelor’s degree from Thomas Aquinas College in 2023. He spent thousands of hours engaged in Socratic discussions over literature, philosophy, and theology, which kindled his passion for learning through conversation about primary sources. When not studying, he could be found on the TAC stage acting in Shakespeare’s As You Like It and Macbeth, or cooking (and cleaning up after) huge meals for classmates in a college kitchen. Before joining the OLMC faculty, he taught history, mathematics, science, grammar and composition, literature, and Latin to students in grades 5 through 7 at St. Michael’s Catholic School in Brattleboro, Vermont. He also coached St. Michael’s high school soccer team and led adventures in cross-country skiing. Mr. Domnarski loves sketching, hiking, and swing dancing, and looks forward to sharing his hobbies with colleagues and students. She loves teaching second grade in particular because she gets to explore a wide-range of subjects with her students–from the humanities to math and science to the Catholic faith. She received a bachelor’s degree from Caldwell University, where she majored in Education (K-6) and Special Education (K-12). After teaching in Catholic schools for over a decade, she still finds that teaching fuels her own passion for learning and discovery. She is currently enrolled in the Catholic Educator Formation and Credential Program through the Augustine Institute to further explore the Church’s rich educational tradition. A frequent chamber music collaborator with musicians of the The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Juilliard415, and the New Jersey Symphony, he has recordings on Naxos and MSR Classics and has premiered/performed over 100 compositions written by the world’s leading composers, including Frederic Rzewski, Reena Esmail, Tyshawn Sorey, and Stephen Hough. Dr. Bolleia has presented his research on American Modernism, Performance Analysis and Topic Theory throughout the world at international and national symposiums and conferences. He is Assistant Professor of Music at William Paterson University where he is Director of New Music and Coordinator of Piano/Keyboard Studies. Active in digital media and industry, he has composed and recorded multiple scores for Audible by Amazon and for the 125th Anniversary Campaign of Dr. Pepper. He began his work in sacred music at the age of 13 and is the Director of Music at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Boonton and Lumen Gentium Academy. Additional pursuits include the study of sacred music at The Institute of Sacred Music at Yale University and Gregorian Chant at the Wethersfield Institute. He cites his tutelage under a variety of mentors to be most profoundly influential, especially with Ursula Oppens, Alan Feinberg, Peter Sykes, Gary Kirkpatrick, Min Kwon, Richard Egarr, Béatrice Martin, Avi Stein, Skip Sempé, Jerome Lowenthal, Fred Hersch, Nicolas Hodges, Warren Jones, William Christie, Robert Mealy, Renée Anne Louprette, Dr. Billy Taylor and Vincent Condro. During that time, she shared her knowledge and expertise by leading a large homeschool coop. After her family joined OLMC School, she was the president of the OLMC Home and School Association, and enjoyed working with fellow parents to organize events for the school community. She is inspired as a teacher by the words of Saint John Paul II: “Jesus does not say ‘no’ to the authentic demands of the heart, but only a clear, loud ‘yes’ to life, to love, to freedom, to peace and to hope. Following a career in human resources, she immersed herself in homeschooling her own four children, guiding their education from kindergarten through high school. She graduated cum laude from Cabrini University with a degree in education and a focus on special education. For the last nine years, she has helped to run the Caldwell-West Caldwell Recreation summer camp for children in grades 1-8. She also started and leads a summer math and reading program. After playing four years of varsity basketball in high school, she has continued her love of sports through various coaching opportunities, and is currently head coach of the OLMC 4th-5th grade girls basketball team. In her free time, Miss DeBlasis likes to play basketball and is an avid reader—just ask her how many books she’s read so far this year! Mrs. Higgins is thrilled to serve as Kindergarten teacher, where she can offer her passion for teaching, faith, and educational ministry. Prior to joining OLMC, Mrs. Higgins was the Director of an Early Childhood school for nearly 10 years, serving children ranging from infancy through 5 years old, and has been in the education field since 2006. Mrs. Higgins graduated from Montclair State University in 2007 with a B.S. in Family and Child Studies with a concentration in Early to Middle Childhood. Additionally, she holds a K-5 Teaching Certification for the state of New Jersey and Montessori Certification for ages 3-6. He was then sent to Rome for priestly formation at two of the world’s foremost theological institutions – the Gregorian University and the Alphonsian Academy – where he earned his STB and completed his STL in Moral Theology. Most recently, he earned a Specialist Degree in Education at Seton Hall University, graduating with commendations. Father O’Mullane has served the Diocese of Paterson in a number of different roles, including Parochial Vicar in Rockaway and Montville, Chaplain and Theology Teacher at Pope John XXIII High School in Sparta, Adjunct Professor of Theology at Seton Hall University, and Censor Librorum for the diocese. As the Operations Manager, she oversees anything and everything that goes into running OLMC school facilities, the admittance process of students, attendance, tuition and financial matters, front desk coverage, etc. This “I’m never going to teach” rebel graduated with honors in dual majors of psychology and linguistics at Rutgers University. She went on for a Master’s in communication sciences and disorders at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Institute of Health Care Professions. After a career as a speech-language pathologist in a variety of settings, her dream of motherhood fulfilled, and a bunch of travel under her belt, she found Xanadu at OLMC.
