Calling All Future Readers!

All children from infants to age 5 are warmly invited to bring their caregivers to Story and Song Time! This special program introduces these little learners to the joys of good literature, music, and social development in a welcoming environment that delights children and adults alike!

Story Time is free and open to all, and you can find details below (click HERE to view Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on the map). Please register in advance. You can also join mid-session - just let us know that you’ll be joining us! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to storytime@olmcboonton.org. We hope to see you there!

But it’s not just about bedtime stories for little kids: Reading aloud consoles, uplifts and invigorates at every age, deepening the intellectual lives and emotional well-being ocif teenagers and adults, too…For everyone, reading aloud engages the mind in complex narratives; for children, it’s an irreplaceable gift that builds vocabulary, fosters imagination, and kindles a lifelong appreciation of language, stories and pictures.”
