There are just a few slots left for prospective families to check out OLMC at our next school tour on Friday, December 8th at 9 am. Let the light of OLMC so shine before your family and friends: encourage them to register HERE today!
LESSONS & CAROLS
Lessons & Carols will be on Sunday, December 17th. This is a beloved OLMC/LGA tradition that will help make your family’s Advent preparations all the more meaningful and memorable. For more about the event, check out this blog post.
SHAKESPEARE THEATER FIELD STUDY
LGA students will take a trip to the Kirby Shakespeare Theater in Madison to see the performance of Shakespeare’s Midwinter Night’s Dream on December 14th. We will order pizza for lunch when we return from the performance. Details about the play, lunch, and chaperones are included with the permission slip that will go home with students next week.
Click HERE for the permission slip.
VOLUNTEER/GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Parent chaperone/drivers are needed to help with LGA’s upcoming visit to the Shakespeare Theater on December 14th. Please contact Victoria Kachler at vkachler@lg.academy if you are able to help.
Our faculty and teachers give so much of themselves, so the HSA we would like to reciprocate by pooling our resources to bless each of them with a monetary gift this Christmas. We are asking for your help to show this type of appreciation. We are hoping to be able to give at least $100 to each full-time staff member and $50 to each part-time staff member. The total amount we collect will be distributed equally. If your family would like to contribute toward this collection for our teachers, please send your contribution in by December 10th. You may send it in an envelope marked “HSA” to be delivered to the front desk. Checks can be made out to “OLMC.” You may also use paypal.me/olmchsa.* There is no obligation to participate. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated. If you have more than one child in the school, please send the envelope with your oldest child.
*Cash and checks are preferred over PayPal as PayPal takes a small fee for each transaction.

We’d like to express our deepest condolences to Mrs. Higgins and Mrs. Rose on the unexpected loss of their father. There have been meal trains set up for those who would like to contribute dinners and/or gift cards during this difficult time:
